Types of Photo Shoots Available
Weddings - encompassing photographs of a couple before marriage (for announcements, portrait displays, or thank you cards [engagement shoot]) as well as coverage of the wedding and reception. We use a Photojournalist style of wedding photography, taking its cue from editorial reporting styles and focuses more on candid images with little photographer interaction.
Portraits - the focus of the photograph is usually the person's face, although the entire body and the background or context may be included. It is mainly to displays the expression, personality, and mood of a person or group.
Event - capturing the festive of a party, birthday, reunion, and/or behind the scenes occasion. We also over funerals, baptisms, promotions, and welcome home candids.
Real Estate - bringing tons of lighting and spend a few hours setting it up especially for interior lighting because it is usually tricky. At the end, it is all about the perfect photo of the perfect home. It's the finely crafted photos that can be the difference maker in setting a seller's property apart from others.
Fashion - devoted to displaying clothing, accessories, and beauty. Fashion photography is most often conducted for advertisements or fashion magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, or Elle. Clients, majority of the time enjoy this type of photography to challenge their capabilities.
Product - shooting small and/or large items while seeing them bigger-than-life on screen (jewelry, clothing, automobile, and more)
Music Industry - photographing a musician whiling matching up with that clients genre.
Engagement - a professional photograph taken to use with your engagement announcement, to post on your wedding web page, to decorate your wedding reception, just just photos to hang around your home. It is also a chance to get some great pictures of you and your fiance (and show off your ring). For lots of couples, the engagement photo shoot is a time to get to know their wedding photographer (if it is the same person you are going to use).
Beauty - the focus of the photograph is usually the person's face, although the entire body and the background or context may be included. It is a shoot with detailed makeup and specially style hairstyle.
Headshots - Focus of the photograph is a person's face. Professional actors and models are often required to include a head shot in their portfolio.
Parts - Photography of specific body parts rather than the entire body. Any part of the body can be the subject but the face is not usually included.
Pin-up -Glamour photography with a 'retro' feel like you'd see in an old-time men's magazine or calendar. These images range from fully dressed to nude, but most often fall somewhere in between.
Pregnancy - Maternity shoot. Wait until you're big, but not too big. It's suggested to take photos right around 30 weeks. That's when your belly gets really round (How far along are you? weeks, months)
Landscape/Architecture - landscape photography is typically capturing the presence of nature but can also focus on man-made features or disturbances of landscapes. It can include urban settings, industrial areas, and nature photography. Architectural photography is the photographing of buildings and similar structures that are both aesthetically pleasing and accurate representations of their subjects.
